The London Map plots things to see & places to go throughout the capital. Intended for residents & visitors alike it includes not only the famous attractions but also plenty of the lesser known & quirky places of interest. Hopefully something for everyone. A valuable resource for identifying where attractions are located in relation to one another, enabling you to make best use of your time. Detailed below are the categories included; for each entry on the map we have included a very brief description (mostly taken from either the attraction/venue, Google or Wiki) so if something takes your interest use the web link for more information.

We have “cheated” in so far as a few entries are outside the Greater London area, but we justify this because the are readily accessible from London & too good to miss.

What’s Included:

Landmarks & Places of Interest: All the famous buildings & landmarks along with areas & districts worth a visit

Galleries & Museums: Includes the big, the small & the unusual

Parks Wildlife & Natural Attractions: Many of London’s parks, open spaces & gardens & wildlife attractions from Zoo’s to City Farms

Markets Shopping & Shops: London’s famous & specialist markets along with featuring popular & lesser know Shopping areas. Included also are a selection of some weird & wonderful Shops.

Sports: Venues & Activities: Venues to watch all the major Sporting Events & where to partake in the many different Sporting Activities throughout the city.

Sightseeing Tours & Experiences: A whole range of tour types (walking, bus, boat etc.) & experiences covering many, many different subjects.

Amusements Fun Days Games & Attractions: Everything from Amusement Parks, Escape Room Games, Treasure Hunts, Fun Activities etc. etc.

Pubs Bars Restaurants & Eateries: Obviously to attempt to create a map or list of all such establishments in London would be impractical at best. What we have gone for is those that offer something more ie. themed, activities etc. Also included are those which are quirky, famous/infamous or have a story to tell

Theatres & Casinos: Basically “what it says on the tin”

Events: Details outdoor Events in the main; Festivals, Motor Shows, Foodie Events, Beer Festivals….

Always a work in progress, we update on a regular basis so pop back to view new entries or follow us on Facebook to be notified when we update.
